“Your business plan so to create a blog where you will create a serialized short stories for people to read.” Adam summed up my plan after he finished chewing the spaghetti i had made. He didn’t sound like he disapproved, more like he wanted to confirm what he heard. Monica was busy trying to feed herself and make sure her youngest Tara was eating and not just throwing all the food on the floor. Sophie was just playing with her food shuffling her food across her plate, and James was eating as fast as he could so he can go back to playing.
“Perfect plan you can write all about me, you would have a big audience.” Clark, Adam’s familiar, an orange tabby, all wizards got them when they are little. He like Adam also had powers, although he not only didn’t have many he wasn’t very good at magic to begin with. Though he loved to remind me that at least he has some. He was sitting at the table more like a human than a cat. He had more table manners than my four and three year old. Sitting properly at the table on a chair that had a booster seat in it. That raised him to the perfect amount to be sitting properly at the table.
“I am not writing about you,” I rolled my eyes and continued to talk to Adam as if the kids hadn’t left the table in their usual manner and were now running around. “I was planning to write fictional stories mostly to be funny and be entertaining. I figured it would easier than writing a book and you can see your progress faster.” She wasn’t looking at Adam but she wanted to be confident. She don’t know why she was a little embarrassed by the idea. But in her head it sounded ridiclous. She didn’t consider herself very creative or talented. But she wanted to do something to bring joy from someone even if it just to herself for a while.
“Great, I’d enjoy reading that if I came across this online.” Adam the most loyal and supportive husband agreed. She never had any doubt he had been this way sense she met him. But he would call her out if the idea was crazy so hearing him without a doubt the idea wasnt as crazy as she thought it was.
“You can use my name as the main character, but he had better be a good guy and I will need to read everything before you post.” Clark was now cleaning his face.
“I’m not using your name either.” Monica was now cleaning off Tara who was wearing more than she was eating. Adam had finished his plate and was now looking at his phone, what a lucky duck.
“So what would you be writing about? You have anything specific in mind? To be a serialized you would need some characters and simular plot. You ahve that in mind right?” Adam asked putting down his phone and seeking an honest answer. I think he was a little worried about my plan and wanted to confirm my plans.
The kids meanwhile were had somehow managed to enchant a ball to follow them. Like a lost puppy. It floated low and was slow but they loved it all the same. They were having a blast taking turns to allow it to follow one than the other. Compleatly entertained and forgetting the rest of the world. These little moments thats what I wanted to be writting about.
“This,” I guestured to them playing in the other room. “I’m gonna write about this.”
